Hinsdale Bank and Trust, Community Reinvestment Fund USA, Melrose Park and The Bellwood Chamber of Commerce are partnering to present an Access to Capital Seminar at the April Meeting of the Bellwood and Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce. We would like to address issues that directly impact entrepreneurs and offer suggestions that will support their efforts.

Our suggested topics will be:

Sustainability of Small Businesses
Panelists will discuss community partnerships and other strategies that have effectively assisted bringing capacity and access to captial to entrepreneurs. They will address the importance of encouraging and supporting local entrepreneurs, and the critical role of revitalizing commercial corridors.

Attracting Capital to New and Growing Businesses
Panelists will discuss the wide array of capital sources available to entrepreneurs and small business owners. We will hear about options from banks, including SBA loans; alternative capital options, such as microloans; Community Development Financial Institutions and specialty programs including patient capital. Time will be reserved for an interactive question and answer session.
